2 Hour Special:
The team heads to Kansas to help the Gilyeat Family. Daniel is a single dad of four who served our country as a Marine. He took a second tour of duty just to help his family financially. During his second tour his job was to disarm bombs that were found. His truck hit one and he lost his leg. One year after his leg was amputated, his wife divorced him. He is strapped financially and his house is very small with very little room to maneuver when he is in his wheelchair. The team renovates the home of this decorated U.S. Marine who lost a leg in Iraq; while renovations are under way the family vacations in Los Angeles and gets a surprise visit to meet actress Miley Cyrus (”Hannah Montana”).

You or any other husband/wife of a military soldier have no reason to explain yourself. Our country is served by brave men and women. We all enjoy the freedom that they provide. Some people are just ignorant to the reality of it all. It must be mentally straining to have those thoughts at anytime of your day. Stay strong and God Bless all of us.

really cause military wives have the hardest job in the world. want to know what it is?? not knowing if your husband is still alive the night that you go to sleep. and no its not that we want there benefits because most of us are with them way before they join. Being a Marines soon to be wife i can tell you its not easy so if you think that you can handle not knowing if the person you love is still alive go ahead live a day in my shoes with my fiance in Afghanistan for YOUR freedom.

Maybe she wants him the same reason you wanted your husband; military benefits, free medical, dental, bas, etc etc. Considering the divorce rate for the military is astronomically high, they’re not good spouse choices. Or maybe, and probably more likely, THEY don’t pick good women to marry.
And while military wives get fat on base, military husbands are more than willing to entertain tag-chasers.
It’s a two way street; you can’t just hate the women.
