How do you know the Makeover people made the mess and didn’t clean it up? The newspaper article that brought this to light made no mention of that.

This family has been harrassed by the county as a result of code violations that Extreme Makeover created, they are now living with a 29,000 debt that is increasing everyday. A lien that will eventually cause them to lose the land and the house. The Makeover nightmare, at least before the makeover they had a place to stay, now they may be homeless.

I have never seen such a grateful family on this show, she is an amazing woman and I hope her life has changed in a good way and continues to do so for many many more years to some.
