This episode hurts …
This episode hurts my heart so much. I want everything for this family. These kids are so blessed to have the wonderful people as parents. I have so much respect for the dad. I think he would benefit greatly from meeting with Patrick Henry Hughes, the 19 year old blind man who is very inspiring when facing the “impossible.”

Its not supposed to be able to pass from one family member to another the chances that the second child would have the disease was rare, but 4 children hardly heard of at all impossible. They would have no way of knowing that all their kids would be sick, they were probably just praying they would have at least one healthy child.

i’m the worst off by far… just saw my own sort of “philadelphia” - a center at johns hopkins with a doctor who gets patients from all over the country & world. my parents go through taking care of me.

but they wouldn’t let me go for anything.

not to mention it’s not supposed to be a hereditary disease. Sometimes freak accidents occur, my brother and I were both born with neurological cancer (totally unrelated types) but my sister was born healthy. Strange things happen…
